The most basic tips of all language test is to have a fit condition while doing the test. In other word, get a good sleep and eat well before doing the test. DO NOT stay overnight for studying TOEIC test in the day before test. If you do that it will reduce your concentration during the test. When I study English , I think "Feeling is as important as memorizing". I have been memorizing a lot of words to read English in no time. But there are many words I don't know. When I find such a word, I look the words around it and predict the meaning. In other words, it is feeling the word. So I try to improve my feeling.
